Marion was born in Kaufman County, Texas during a tornado and continued to be a force of nature the remainder of her life. She was known for her energy and her organization of study clubs, book clubs, and women’s groups.
She and Bob retired to their farm in Canton, Texas where they soon made close friends and Marion began many projects there.
She is predeceased by her parents, her six siblings and their spouses, her beloved husband, and close friend Marinell C. Price. She is survived by her children Sydney S. Farrier (Bob), and Robert L. Strange (Erline), her much loved grandchildren Sara S. Farrier (Jesus Mendez) and Joseph R. Farrier (Emily Green) and her three great grandchildren, Hunter, Owen, and Heidi.
Today there is a very happy Bob Strange as he greets his “lil muvver” in heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, February 28, 2020, in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 1835 Young Street, Dallas, 75201.
