Lewis served in the Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War. He was in during the Tet Offensive and helped build the famous 'Barbwire Fence' for LBJ. The fire base he served at was over run at least twice during the time he was in the service.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, he loved country music. During retirement he enjoyed computer work and gained a proficiency in working on the computer.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years,Elaine Graham; four children, Lewis E Graham III, Leah Marie Holcomb, David Graham, and Vernon Mathew Graham; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and his siblings, Norman Stahl (of Topeka, Ks) and Connie Hammaker (of Houston, Texas).
