William J. Bailey, 91, formerly of 81 Hanover Road, Reisterstown, died Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Long View nursing home, Manchester, after a lengthy illness. He was a retired machinist instructor for the U.S. Navy. Born in Loganville, Pa., he was a son of the late Jacob and Mary Jane Bailey. He is the father of Mrs. Esther W. Howard, Westminster, and William Earle Bailey of Golden Gate, Fla. Also surviving are two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Eckhardt funeral chapel, Owings Mills, Saturday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Scott W. Broadbent of All Saints Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville. Friends may call Thursday and Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
