Estella M. Ackeret, 93, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at her son's home in Lebanon. She was born April 9, 1910 in Soldier, KS, the daughter of Creed and Nettie (Nott) Hickman. She was raised on a farm in Holton, KS. On Aug. 11, 1927, she married Carl E. Ackeret in Topeka, KS. The couple lived in Topeka, KS until moving to Lebanon, KS in 1942. She was a homemaker and worked for 10 years at Cascade Plywood. Her husband died in 1972. Mrs. Ackeret is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Shirley Ackeret of Lebanon; brother Doyle Hickman of Topeka, KS; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. A son; Robert Ackeret, three brothers; Orville, Milton, and Clifford Hickman, two sisters; Muriel Bostwick and Mabel Farrel died before her. Funeral services were held Jan. 9, at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery on January 9, 2004
