79, of Fort Wayne died Saturday at V A Northern Indiana Healthcare System.
The Pennsylvania native retired in 1979 from International Harvester as an engineer after 32 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran.
His wife, Ruth, died in 1988.
Surviving are a son, Richard of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Wendy Porter of Fort Wayne; a brother, Morris of Portsmouth, Va.; and five grandchildren.
Services are 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Memorials are to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
