Zelda “Darlene” Harjo passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at her home, after a courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born October 14, 1946 in El Reno, OK to Otto and Anna Wiese.
Darlene grew up in Wewoka and attended Butner High School. She met her husband. Raymond of 17 years. in her hometown, Wewoka.
Darlene's love for the outdoors and dedication to her lawn mowing business kept her young in mind, body & spirit. She especially enjoyed the short time she was able to share her business with grandson Damion and getting the whole family together for cook-outs at Grandma's.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Gina Harjo Richards and children, Kaeci, Kylie, Hope, Destiny, and Ethan; son, Cincinnati Harjo and wife Jenny and children, Maci, Alicyn, Colton, and Paris; son, Alex Quiroz and children, Trinity and Devin; granddaughter, Reva Silva and children, Riley, Reese, and Rome; close family friend, Armando Quiroz; sister, Susan Dickens and husband Howard and children, Jason and Sherry Gregg; Sister, Mary Wiese and son, Dustin Wiese and grandson, Jordan Wiese; and numerous great grandkids, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Anna Wiese; husband, Raymond (Buddy) Harjo; daughter, Rona Ann (Silva) Harjo; grandson, Damion Ray Harjo; son-in-law, Paul Wayne Richards; and niece Kara Ann Wiese.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Darlene Harjo will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Family and friends may pay their respects to Darlene at her home in El Reno, OK 73036. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
