Thomas S. Lamb Is Dead at 75

Thomas S. Lamb, 75, of 422 South Twenty-sixth street, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Funeral services Friday at 2 pm at the Crosby-Meyer chapel will be conducted by St. John's Lodge No. 25, A. F. and A. M. Lee Forby Camp No. 1, United Spanish War Veterans, will officiate at the burial in Prospect Hill cemetery.

Many years ago Lamb posed as model for the statue atop the monument in the Spanish war section of the cemetery. He served with Company L, First Nebraska volunteer infantry regiment, in the Philippines.

A cowboy in early life, Lamb came to Omaha when a young man. He was Douglas county deputy election commissioner under Harley G. Moorhead, 1915 to 1922, and served as cashier in the county treasurer's office under W. G. Ure.
