Ellen was born October 3, 1964, in Portsmouth, Virginia at the Naval Medical Center to Glenn Smith and Linda (Rice) Martin.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Natalie Prince of Joshua, Texas. Son, Joshua Prince and wife, Kristen of Allen, Texas. Daughter, Natasha Prince of Allen, Texas, Four grandsons. Preston, Ian, Cole and Drew and one granddaughter, Aubrey. Two sisters, Marilyn Rice-Smith and Mary Ann Geiger of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Donna Amy and husband, Louie of Waxahachie, Texas. Ellen is also survived by her nephew, Brad, Amy and wife, Elizabeth, Ft. Worth, Texas. Two nieces. Robin Amaro and husband, Ricky, Waxahachie, Texas and Brooke Amy also from Waxahachie, Texas. Two great nephews, Carter and Camden Amy and one great niece, Avery Amaro.
In addition to the numerous cousins and close friends who will miss her terribly, she leaves behind two very special people, her beloved friends, Glen and Cheryl Burnett of Joshua, Texas.
Ellen grew up around animals, but it wasn't until recent years that she was able to show just how much she loved them. Dogs were her passion. She took her little Bichons everywhere she could. But the one thing Ellen will be remembered the most for would have to be her laugh. She could light up the room. Her laughter was electrifying and contagious. We were blessed to have known her and we will truly miss her.
