Dawn Marie Fries, loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, went home to be with her maker at the age of 52 on Wednesday October 30th, 2019 at 12:45p.m at her home.
Dawn was born November 9, 1966 in Illinois to Earl Fries of Dade City, FL and Diana Overturf Bayles.
Dawn loved to paint and she especially loved being a Nana to her precious grandbabies.
Dawn is survived by her son Jason, daughters Danielle, and Chelsea Lawrence, all of West Frankfort. Her grandchildren Katy Bug (Katelyn) Wyatt, and Emerson, Kennedy, Timothy, Brooklyn/Landon.
Dawn is also survived by her father Earl Fries and his wife Lena Fries; sister M Fries of Marion IL and sister Kathleen of Johnston City and brother Jamie of Johnston City. a very very special cousin A Fries, her favorite Aunt Janet and her husband Tim, and uncle L Fries. Dawn also has several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dawn was preceded in death by her brother Philip Fries, her grandmother Mary Fries, grandpa Bill Fries, and mother Diana Overturf Bayles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Union Funeral Home at 2:00p.m.
Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort.
