Actor. He was one of the screen's most ultimate swashbucklers, noted for his role in "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" (1958). A versatile performer, he also starred in "5 Against the House" (1955), "Tarawa Beachhead" (1958), "The 3 Worlds of Gulliver" (1960), "The Devil at 4 O'Clock" (1961), "Jack the Giant Killer" (1962) and "Death Takes a Holiday" (1971). For television, he appeared on Ford Theater, Playhouse 90, The World of Walt Disney and Ironside. He retired from moviemaking and acting in the late 1970s.
