H. A. Kerley died at an Ardmore sanitarium on July 29, 1930 following many months of failing health, at the age of 57 years. Mrs. Kerley was a pioneer of this section, having come here from North Carolina as a young man. He leaves a faithful wife, three sons, one daughter to mourn his going, two children having preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at the Ringling Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, led by REV. M. A. COOK of Ardmore, the former pastor of the deceased. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery followed immediately. Active pallbearers were J. L. HARPER, E. H. BENNETT, W. S. GILLEY, J. N. RICE, A. MCCRORY, A. C. SWINNEY; honorary bearers were DICK MCLISH, DR. L. B. SUTHERLAND, J. M. ROBERSON, JOHN GOODE, D. F SPRADLING, E. J. BEAN, W. A. SAMPLES, J. D. HANNA, P. B. TURNER, L. JACKSON, WILTON HOWARD, J. P. DULANEY.
