Ga La Moen Watson, of Amarillo Texas passed away June 8, 2019.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m., July 6, 2019 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Gorman Texas with Richard Watson officiating.
Ga La “Gaye” was born on October 15, 1938 to Edna Ellen and James Arland Watson. She was born and raised in Gorman where she excelled in school and was active in the First Baptist Church.
She had a career in marketing for rehabilitation hospitals in and around the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. More recently she had been a resident of Weatherford, Texas and has been a long time member of Weatherford’s Victory Baptist Church. Ga La is known as someone who enjoyed decorating her home and took pride in her appearance. Her charismatic, outgoing personality was apparent to all. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Tecson and her husband, James “Tex” Tecson; a brother, Johnnie Watson; and her beloved dog, Suzy.
Survivors include three children, Phil Riddle and wife Jenny, Donna Alexander and husband Bob, Tim Alexander and wife Debby; a sister, Edna Joyce Brinegar, and husband John; a sister-in-law, Kay Watson Johnson, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren along with a host of nephews and a niece.
