           She was born in Moscow, Arkansas on April 24, 1934, to the late Ora B. and Nathaniel Lewis.

           She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pervis Alford Sr.; siblings, Helen Allen, Evelina Honorable, Cleophis McMoore, Alfred McMoore, Ernest McMoore, and Ernestine Traylor; son, Thomas James Anderson I; granddaughter, Jennifer Williams, and grandson, Lester Anderson.
