Everett Leslie Wilsey Jr., 86, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on July 5, 2019.
Ed graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Religious Education.

He worked for the State of Florida as a Juvenile Counselor and was a Minister of Education at St Johns Park Baptist Church, Franklin Street Baptist Church and Park Lane Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and camping in his motorhome.

He was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church and loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jean Wilsey, 2 sons Les and Brian Wilsey, 1 daughter Cindy Wilsey, 1 brother George Wilsey, and 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

His family will be receiving friends at a visitation on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 6-8pm at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills funeral home 850 St Johns Bluff Rd N Jacksonville, FL 32225. Pastor Steve McCollum will be officiating his service on Friday July 12, 2019 at 11 am at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills funeral home. Ed's committal service will follow immediately after at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
