Julia "Judy" Voyles age 61, died Monday, August 28, 2006 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Lee County, Mississippi after a long illness.
She was born September 8, 1944 in Prentiss County, Mississippi to Donnie Lee Davis & Ruby W. (Bearden) Davis of Booneville, Prentiss County, Mississippi.
She was retired from Marietta manufacturing and North Mississippi Medical Center and was a member of The Church of Christ. She was a dedicated wife, loving Mother and Grandmother.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. today at Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn, MS, with Carl Dunlap and Bro. Jerry Childs officiating.
Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery, Kirkville, Mississippi.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years Bernis Voyles; one son Anthony Voyles (Angie) of Baldwyn, MS; one daughter, Lisa (Voyles) Lindsey (Joey) of Baldwyn, MS; three grandchildren, Chip Ausbern; Hunter & Hallie Lindsey; Two brothers, Chester Davis (Janeice) of Corinth, MS & Donald Davis (Diane) of Booneville, MS; a host of nieces & nephews; a special friend Linda Cromeans of Marietta, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Winnie Mae (Davis) Carroll of Booneville, MS, and two brothers Elmer Davis of Booneville, MS & Robert Davis (Mary Jo) of Walls, MS.
Pallbearers will be Ken Scott, Mike Scott, Billy Joe Garvin, Tommy Bradsher, Rodney Voyles and Charles Davis.
