Leon Monroe Metcalf passed away Thursday May 30, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Asheville, NC he was the son of the late Floyd L. and Ruby Pearl Echols Metcalf, and the husband of Linda Faye Nelson Metcalf. Leon was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, the owner and operator of Woodruff Machine Shop and a member of Bethel Masonic Lodge #112.
Survivors in addition to his loving wife include one son, Leslie Metcalf of Woodruff; two brothers, Maurice L. Metcalf of Maryville, TN, James Metcalf of Woodruff and one sister, Barbara Dean Metcalf of Spartanburg.
Services on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, prior to the 2:00 PM Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dr. David B. Boyter. Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
