This is a memorial to Dora Beatrice Hice / Hise, daughter of Walter Lee Hise and Sarah Mae Kile, and her daughter Sarah Jane. Dora was married to Virgil Forbus Shaw born Dec. 28, 1913 in Caddo, Oklahoma Territory. He died April 4, 1991 in Lone Oak, Hunt County, Texas. Their daughter Sarah Jane Shaw never drew a breath of life. She died before she had a chance to live, that being on June 23, 1945 in Haskell County, Texas. To date I've not found a death date or place on Dora Beatrice Hice. Did she die along with her daughter Sara? Did Virgil Forbus Shaw ever remarry? I've found no record on on this. Dora and Forbus did have a son Charles Wayne Shaw who lived a long life.
