He was born March 27, 1947, in Martinsville, to Andrew David Joyce and Dove Clark Joyce, both deceased.
He worked at Pillowtex for 34 years and was a member of the Woodmen of the World.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Bertha Martin Joyce of the home; two daughters: Deana Joyce Hancock of Radford and Tammy Lynn Joyce of the home; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Chapel in Bassett with Minister George Harris officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Services.
