Patent trader - Thursday, June 1, 1967: - DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. - William Joseph Farrell, dairy farmer and owner of the Dover Plains Packing Company, died May 22 of cancer in Sharon Hospital. Sharon, Conn. after an illness of several months. He was 37 years old. The son of the late Michael David Farrell and Mrs. Cecelia Morlock Farrell of DeForest Corners, Brewster, he learned the dairy farming business under his grandfather, the late Adam Morlock, who formerly owned one of the leading dairy farms in the Brewster area. Mr. Farrell graduated from Brewster High School and married Charlotte Purdy of Mahopac Falls in 1956. He is survived by his mother and his widow; two sons, William and David; two daughters, Jeanne and Nancy; also a brother, Dr. Robert 'Farrell of Mt. Upton, NY. and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pilger of Patchogue, L.I., Mrs. Nancy Flood of Amenia, NY and Mrs. Betty Ruffles of Gilbertsville, NY. Burial was in Milltown cemetery.
