Abalene M. Fore, 84, of Tifton passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Fore at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Roe and the Rev. Rodney Owens will officiate. The family will receive friends on April 30, 2019, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born October 21, 1934 in Blackshear, Mrs. Fore was the daughter of the late Horace Turner and Ola Mixon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Fore; one son, Edward Lamar Fore; one brother, Garland Turner; and one sister, Loretta Hill. She was retired and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fore is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James Michael “Mickey” and Pearl Fore of Tifton; one sister, Mary Melton of Kingsland; two grandchildren, Marie Crumley and her husband, Zach and Brittany Fore; and three great-grandchildren, Milly Crumley, Paislee Crumley and Anzlee Crumley.
Born October 21, 1934 in Blackshear, Mrs. Fore was the daughter of the late Horace Turner and Ola Mixon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Fore; one son, Edward Lamar Fore; one brother, Garland Turner; and one sister, Loretta Hill. She was retired and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
