Nita Clar Colfer, of 61 Roundtree Boulevard, San Rafael, died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness. She was 53.
She was born in Franklin, NE, and later moved to Roseburg, OR. She had lived in California for the past 34 years, the last 15 in Marin County.
She was a hairdresser at the House of Kwan Yin, San Anselmo.
She is survived by 5 brothers, Philan Leggett of Eugene, OR; Ernest, Ridgeway, and Duaine Leggett, all of Roseburg, OR; and Ronald Leggett of Barstow, San Bernardino County, and 2 sisters, Eugena Waldron of Crescent City, Humboldt County; and Frances Kingry of Roseburg.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
