At 11 o'clock last night Mr. J. Frank Ford died at this home at Mechanicsville after a short illness, which it is thought was the result of injuries received in a fall about three weeks ago, when he was injured on the head. The deceased was a prominent merchant and a popular citizen, his death being learned with sorrow by his many friends here. At 3 o'clock this afternoon the funeral will take place.
Six children survive, and in their sad bereavement the condolences of their many friends are extended to them.
