YandaLarry Paul Sessums, 64, flew to heaven on the morning of March 21, 2019, surrounded by his family. Larry’s kindness was felt by many through his smile, kind words, and endless witty remarks. His favorite times were spent with his wife, three children, their spouses, and his grandchildren laughing and enjoying time with them. Larry had a compassionate heart which many people were able to see, feel, and love in return. Brenda, his wife of 46 years, has been by his side since they were in high school and through their 23 years of owning and running Hop n Sack. Lisa, Andrea, and Paul will miss their dad’s hugs, laughs, and words of wisdom. His grandchildren, Bryson, Logan, Grant, Jonah, Parker, and Wyatt will miss his excitement to see them, smiles he shared, and his cookies. Brandan, Samantha, and Jeremy will miss his smile while playing with his grandchildren, his work ethic, selflessness, honesty, support, and encouragement. All of them will miss his sense of style and snazzy socks. Larry will also be missed by his brother, Ricky, and his wife Carol, and his sister-in-law, Betty along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Larry will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019, at First Baptist Church Marlow, 213 N. Broadway St, Marlow, OK 73055.

“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of having ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.” -Mother Teresa
