VICTORIA - Judith Ann Weaver, 73, passed away March 14, 2019. She was born August 20, 1945 in Cuero to Wilma M. Pfeil Stoever and the late Louis Stoever.

She received her nursing degree in 1966 from J. R. Dougherty School of Nursing at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi. On May 22, 1982 she married Leslie Weaver at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a registered nurse on staff at DeTar Hospital for 28 years in the infection control department. Judy was the state president of the Infectious Control Group, and was part of the first group to be nationally certified. She was a long-time member of the American Auxiliary where she served as president, secretary and treasurer. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 5 - 7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
