Cheryl Bo Hughes, 65, of Kilbourne, passed away at her home at 3:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019. She was born February 3, 1954, which was her grandmother's birthday, in Peoria, IL, to Stanley David and Bo Elda (Curry) Huey. She married Danny Wayne Hughes on September 16, 1978 at the Kilbourne Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2016.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by three children: Nathanael David Hughes of Kilbourne, Adam Christopher(Jessica) Hughes, of Havana, Melissa Grace Hughes of Kilbourne; grandson: Ronan Alexander Hughes of Havana; brother, Ronald (Carolyn) Craggs of Kilbourne and sister, Linda Huey of Kilbourne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Kathleen Faye Butler.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Havana.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Grace Baptist Church in Havana. Rev. Ken Wagstaff will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Kilbourne Cemetery.
