MAY 22, 1937 – JANUARY 2, 2019

Mrs. Imogene Dalton Morgan, 81, of Morristown, passed peacefully into Heaven on January 2, 2019; at her home. She was born in Thorn Hill, TN where she lived until the marriage with her husband of 63 years. Imogene was the daughter of late Lee and Grace Dalton. She was of Baptist faith and a devout Christian, saved and baptized at Cedar Springs Baptist Church at a young age.

Imogene was the beloved wife to Bill Foster Morgan and the mother of Cathy (Mike) Richardson and Judy Morgan Penland. She loved and adored her grandchildren; Eric Mayes, Tashia (David) Bales, Channing (Kristen) Richardson, and Kaylan Micha Richardson. Great-Grandchildren; Ellie, Blake, Kylee Bales, Lannie, Maddie Mayes, Cade Christian, and Crew Richardson. Great-great-grandchild; Rowan Jett Fonner.

Proceeding her in death are her parents Lee and Grace Dalton, siblings; Grover Dalton, Edith Eddington, Pauline Scearce, Virgil Dalton, Estella Wolfe, and Edna Coffey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, children, grandchildren, and her brother; A.B. Dalton. She loved all of her many nieces and nephews. Imogene will also be remembered by her special nieces and nephew that helped care for her; Dearl (Donna) Eddington, Linda Moore, and Pam Kyle.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday January 5th at Stubblefield Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Dr. Dean Haun will officiate. A committal service will follow at Noe's Chapel Church Cemetery
