IDA B. PALUMBO
AGE 92 YEARS
Ida B. Palumbo, of DuBois, formerly of Treasure Lake died on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late George and Twila (Huff) Anderson. On Jan. 10, 1948 she married Benedetto Palumbo.
He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2000.
Ida retired from St. Marys Pressed Metals. Previous to that, she had worked at BF Goodrich in DuBois.
She was a member of Tri County Church and the DuBois Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
Ida is survived by three children, Larry Palumbo and his wife, Paula of Phoenix, Arizona; Donna Girts and her husband, Dean, of Kersey; and Benedetto Palumbo and his wife, Donna, of DuBois, 5 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a compassionate and longtime family friend, Rita of Weedville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard "Ricky" Palumbo on July 26, 1974; by two brothers, Ralph "Bud" and Alvin "Bing" Anderson; and by her sister, Evelyn Smith.
Burial in Morningside Cemetery.
