Port St. Lucie, FL

Ariosto Santiago "Santi" Reyes, III, 29, joined our Lord on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Born on December 9, 1988, in Chicago to Ariosto Reyes, Jr. and Maria Ruiz de Luzuriaga Reyes, Santi and his family moved shortly after his birth to Port St. Lucie, FL, where Santi grew up. He attended grade school at St. Joseph Catholic School, then attended John Carroll Catholic High School where he played soccer, swam, and starred in every drama production he could. He was currently enrolled at Florida Atlantic University finishing a degree in vocal performance.

Santi was the beloved Director of Music at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and sang at countless weddings and funerals. He was a private music instructor for voice, piano, and percussion and performed in various local bands. He won numerous awards in vocal competitions and was a Florida finalist for American Idol. Some of his best performances were in SantiAri concerts with his Dad. Santi loved comics, gaming, Star Wars, fishing, and playing beautiful music with his family. He brought music, laughter, and a good heart to all he did.

He is survived by his parents, Ari and Maria; sisters Angela Truong (Pierre), Claudia Reyes, and Beatrice Reyes; and his niece, Eliana. He also leaves his grandmothers, Carolina Reyes and Violeta Ruiz de Luzuriaga.
