Nell Sue McCreight, 86, of Hillsboro, Texas, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with the Rev. Darrel Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Peoria Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Nell was born in Cameron, Texas, to the late Benjamin Boyd and Otilda Eve (Braden) Reynolds. She graduated from Yoe High School in Cameron. On June 28, 1946, she married Bennie D. McCreight in Orange, Texas. She retired from Hillsboro ISD as a lunch room supervisor. She was a member of Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, where she was very active.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 20, 2004.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Kitchens and husband, John, of Conroe, and Debra Moss, of Lubbock; brother, Bennie Gene Reynolds, of Buckholts; sisters, Pearlie Krenek, of Cameron, and Minnie Mosley of Orange; grandchildren, Jana Denson, Jeni Patterson, Deanna Moore and Ben Moss; and great-grandchildren, Dillon Kitchens, Zion Patterson, Abriel Patterson and DaZia Denson.
