Born on September 27, 1950 in Hammond, he was the son of the late Wesley and Mary (Arden) Tuttle.
Paul was a Griffith High School graduate. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart various other medals of valor.
He retired from Inland Steel in East Chicago after 29 years.
On December 5, 1992 he married Candy S. Hershberger.
Paul was a member of the VFW in Winamac and the Dunes F&AM; Lodge #741. He enjoyed fishing and shooting sports. He was also an avid Indiana Hoosiers and Cubs Fan.
Survivors include his wife, Candy Tuttle daughters, Lacey Miller and Ashley Miller son, Jacob Hulse , brother, Dan Tuttle , sister in law, Eileen Tuttle , and grandchildren, Noah Miller, Bentley Miller, Lillith Hulse and Zaiden Hulse.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, George Tuttle.
Services October 9, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home & Crematory, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor John Drexler officiating.
Burial with Military Rites will be at performed at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.
