ODESSA - Bill C. "Billy" Cooper, 87, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at his home. He was born March 11, 1927, in Rule, TX, to Oscar Richard & Georgia Cooper. He was a retired accountant for Slough Equipment Co. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was also a member of the Ector County Sheriff's Posse, Rotary Club and six year AARP Tax-aide volunteer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Francene (Stephens) Cooper; and his sister, Jeanne Milburn. He is survived by his son, Craig Cooper & wife Tanya of Odessa; daughter, Sharon Agnew & husband Mark of Austin; (4) grandchildren, Kayli Cooper, Leah Cooper Reil, Brian Agnew & Nicole Whitmire; and (6) great-grandchildren.

A visitation with family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, October 24, 2014, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Landon Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Dalton Dean, Mike Tyson, Randy Bell, Andy Lange, Ray Belt & Dewayne Hayes.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Odessa or Texas Permian Basin Honor Flight, P.O. Box 52890, Midland, TX 79710-2890.
