Madonna Riley Leonard Dooley Allee
Formerly of Rockville and Marshall.

Passed away Tuesday at Bickford Memory Care, Crawfordsville, where she has resided for a year and a half.

Daughter of Byron and Bernice Blacketer Riley.
Married to John Leonard, Bill Dooley and Allen "Bo" Allee, who all preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter Rhonda (Mike) Mitchell; grandsons Clint (Kim) and Matt (Michele); grandchildren Addison and Mackenna, and Anthony, Andrew and Luke Gregg, Brodie, Emma and Kennedy; step-children Kirk (Susan), Neil (Tina) and Bruce (Cheryle) Allee, and Nanci (Larry) Carpenter; step-grandchildren Jacob, Kathleen, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Micah Kelly Shepard and Stacy (John) Weise, Natalie (Gavin) Ryan, Terin and Dalen Allee, and Matthew and Katie Allee; brother Joe (Carol) Riley.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Max and his wife.

1946 graduate of Marshall High School, where she enjoyed playing girls basketball.

She had worked at Kraft Foods in Marshall.
She went to work at Overpeck Gas in Marshall as a secretary, and retired as manager.

In 2001 she was one of only five women ever elected to the Indiana Propane Gas Association Board of Directors.
For over 40 years she worked on numerous political campaigns and election boards.

She served on the joint committee of Marshall Federated Church, was active in the Busy Homemaker Home Ec Club, Garden Club, Main Street Rockville, Parke County Inc., Extension Homemakers executive board, was awarded "Cancer Control Volunteer of the Year" for the American Cancer Society, and was honored in "A Tribute to Women" for Indiana Federation of Republican Women from Parke County.

She enjoyed sewing, reading and walking.

For over 30 years she was a fixture on the square in Rockville during the Covered Bridge Festival, making pumpkin butter on site.

retirement years she and Bo enjoyed being winter residents of Surprise, Arizona.

She and her husband, Bo won several awards and were recognized for their many acts of volunteerism in Indiana and their winter home to Surprise, Arizona, one of which was volunteering at the sports complex for the San Diego Padres.

Funeral services 3pm Sunday, Aug. 26 at Marshall Federated Church.
Burial Bethany Cemetery, east of Marshall.
Visitation 1pm until time of service.

Arrangements by Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville.
