Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - May 28, 1991 MINERAL WELLS - Aubrey Rayford "Shorty" Busby, a longtime Mineral Wells resident, died Sunday at a Mineral Wells nursing home after an illness. He was 88. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Lawn Terrace Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, where he was a member. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Busby was born in Gordon, in Palo Pinto County, and had lived most of his life in Mineral Wells. He was a rancher. Survivors: Wife, LaVelle Busby of Mineral Wells.
