Ramona Sewell
Zelda Ramona McKinney Sewell, 91, of Danville died Friday in Danville.
Born July 23, 1911, in Montisano, Wash., she was the daughter of the late Walter William and Mary Mae McKinney.
She was the widow of John Alexander Sewell and a home-maker.
She was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church where she served with the Maetta Gray Missionary Circle, Truth Seekers Sunday School Class and a nursery worker for over 40 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Zelda Reid of Danville and Nancy Gordon of Owensboro; two brothers, Clifford McKinney of Middletown, Ohio, and J.B. McKinney of Tabernacle, N.J.; three sisters, Willie White, Edith Powers and Edna McGuffey, all of Danville; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church by the Revs. Tommy Valentine and Phil Rector. Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home.
Memorials may go to the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund.

Danville woman killed in accident
Zelda Ramona Sewell of Danville was killed in a two-car traffic accident north of Danville Friday evening on U.S. 127.
State police said Sewell, 91, was a passenger in a 1987 Dodge Caravan driven by Edna Louise McGuffey, 76, of Danville that was traveling south on U.S. 127.
Police said McGuffey attempted to turn left onto Ky. 2168 at 6:20 p.m. and failed to yield right-of-way to a northbound 1997 Ford F-150 driven by Earl G. Prather, 65, of Somerset.
McGuffey's van was struck in the right passenger side door. Sewell was pronounced dead at the scene by Boyle County Coronor Dr. James Ramey.
Prather suffered leg injuries in the crash, and his passenger, Elvie H. Prather of Somerset, suffered facial and leg injuries.
McGuffey suffered a cut to her head and possible internal injuries, while another passenger in her vehicle, Julie C. Berry of Danville, suffered head and facial injuries.
Trooper Bill Collins was the investigating officer, with assistance from Danville police and Boyle County Emergency Medical Service.

Pallbearers will be Sam Reid Jr., John Gordon, Tommy Taylor, Clarence Wyatt, Dave Bowersox, Keith Webb, Thad Ross and Steve Powers. Honorary pallbearers are members of Maetta Gray Missionary Circle.
