1977 - 2018
Early Life: Dace was born August 23, 1977, in American Fork, Utah, the oldest son of Dave and Larena Ault Beal. When Dace was a little boy, he loved to “throw rocks in the water”, almost to the point of driving his family nuts! As he got older, that love carried over to throwing a baseball, where he had one mean curve ball. Dace attended schools in Lehi and Orem, graduating from Orem High School and going on to earn an associate degree.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Dace loved dirt. He worked in it as an excavator most of his adult life. He also played in it from the time he could walk with family and friends while camping, hunting, fishing and racing around on any off-road vehicle he could, particularly his dune buggy and motorcycle. Almost 17 years ago, he married Amy Lou Fazzio. Together they raised their son, Garin. Dace loved his “Babe” and “Boogie” with all of his heart. He didn’t have a mean or judgmental bone in his body. This world has lost an ally in tolerance and kindness. Heaven has gained a special soul, with an easy smile. Dace David Beal passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at his home in Provo, Utah. He was 40 years old.
Family Message: "We will miss those dimples and loved him unconditionally. He is loved deeply and will be missed every single day of our lives."
Survived By: His wife, Amy; son, Garin; his parents, Dave and Larena Beal; his sister, Dena (Lucas Sparrow) Beal; brother, Dustin (Leena Barnes) Beal; grandpa, Lawrence R. Beal; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
