Bernice was the daughter of George R. Pappas and Bertie B. Barnett. She was the third child and only daughter. She was born in Berkeley, California but soon they moved to Santa Rosa. She attended Santa Rosa High where she met the first "Love" of her life George LeRoy. She tells that she was attending an art display at school and she saw George and immediately knew she was going to spend the rest of her life with him. They married and moved to Fresno, California. Their family quickly grew and they had six children. Bernice got a job working as a Cocktail waitress, Greeting Card representative and a Bookkeeper. But the love didn't last and Bernice and George separated. They kept friends, but Bernice became a single parent. But, she found love again and as she was a waitress at Yturri Basque Hotel and Restaurant, she met Frank W. Munoz. They were married in 1990 and live their lives together till the end. Bernice is survived by her husband and love, Frank (Pappa), her son's Martin, his wife Julie and Stephen. Daughter's Bonnie, her husband Claude Kiser, Leslie Danielsen, Susanne Kephart and Lynne, her husband Sonny Gray. 10 Grandchildren , 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. She also leaves a brother Bob, his wife Trish and her sister-in-law June. She follows her parents, her brother Rodney and a grandsons, Joshua & Justin.
