Heath Huffman, 36, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018, at his residence in Nappanee, Indiana.

Heath was born May 1, 1982 in Danville, Illinois to Anthony (Pat) Huffman and Lou Ann Kemna Ward. He married Amy Frantz on July 10, 2016 at Toscornia Park in St. Joseph, Michigan.

She survives along with his parents; his son, Colton Frantz-Huffman, at home; sister, Heather Huffman, Reno, Nevado; two nieces; one great niece and various cousins, aunts, uncles and step siblings.

Heath was a graduate of North Vermillion High School in 2000 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy and became a corpsman. Heath left the service in 2005 and made his home in South Bend.

He attended IUSB and Culinary School at Ivy Tech. Heath was an Eagle Scout.

Heath enjoyed working with the Veterans in Big Spring Texas before his illness. He loved being a dad, playing drums and guitar, art, and the outdoors. He was a loving son.
