Miss Catherine Teresa Ahern, 38, formerly of Fond du Lac, died at her home in Milwaukee. No date of death was given. She was born Sept. 21, 1944, at St. Agnes Hospital, a daughter of Thomas L. and Elizabeth Gmenheck Ahern. She was graduated from Marquette University in 1967 and studied at Marian College here. Miss Ahern taught in the Milwaukee Public School System for eight years. In July of 1979, she was appointed director of Rental Management Enterprises, Inc., a non-profit neighborhood revitalization organization in Milwaukee's Inner City, and held that position for two years. Surviving are her mother of Fond du Lac; three brothers, Thomas L. of McLean, Va., Michael D. of Fond du Lac and Joseph F. of Milwaukee; and a sister, Elizabeth A. Read of Silver Spring, Mo. Her father preceded her in death. Visitation for Miss Ahern will be after 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Peter P. Carek officiating. Private burial services will be held Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Church and the Meal Program of St. Benedict the Moor Church. 1015 N. Ninth St., Milwaukee, 53233.
