Pamela J. Jimson, 64, of Danville passed from this life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

She was born on October 24, 1953 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of John D. and Jo Ann (Bohn) Fritsch. She was a life long resident of Danville. She married Martin D. Jimson on June 30, 1972 at Davis Monthan AFB, in Tucson, Arizona. He survives.

Other survivors include her sister, Beverly Fritsch Ledwon; her daughters, Kristy (Jerry Short) Jimson and Katari (Steve Enos) Jimson; a step brother, Samuel T. Ault; four grandchildren, Miami of Ohio graduate, Alexus Jimson-Miller (Alexus Mackenzie), Ethan Jimson, Phoenix Jimson and Teppo Enos; uncle, Eugene Fritsch and a host of relatives and friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Pamela’s hobbies were sewing, painting, gardening and other various arts and crafts. She was always doing what Alexus was doing and was attentive to her husband. She attended Danville Lutheran School, graduate of Danville High School (Class of 1971), DACC (Associate in Science) and Eastern Illinois (Bachelor of Arts). Pamela was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Danville Art League and former member of the Danville Garden Club.

She was a four-year U.S. Air Force veteran who was very proud of her military service. She worked at Illiana Health Care System until her early retirement due to disability from MS wherein she is a 20+ year survivor.
