Roy Max Burk, 63, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in South Lawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Messer, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.
Mr. Burk was born in Estelline and was a longtime resident of Amarillo. He was a veteran of the Army military police. In 1984, he retired as a sales clerk from Canyon Drive Lumber. He was a member of South Lawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan E. Burk; a son, Clifton Wayne Burk of Amarillo; two daughters, Lanette Carole Burk of Wichita Falls and Romunda Dee Rickwartz of Amarillo; four brothers, Bill Burk, Bob Burk, Gary Burk and Hugh Burk, all of Amarillo; a sister, Delita Woodward of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
