Jim was the fifth of six children born to Matthew Lee (Sr.) and Jessie Odessa (Scott) Snow. He was the twin to Jesse H. Snow. Jim married Virginia (Howard) in 1947.

J.H. Snow, 82, of Pilot Point, Texas died Saturday, July 16, 2005 in Denton reginald Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 18, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Huff Funeral Home chapel in Pilot Point with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial was in Pilot Point Community Cemetery in Pilot Point, under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.

The son of the late Matt Lee and Jessie Odessa Scott Snow, he was born June 10, 1923 in Collinsville. He married Virginia Howard in 1947 in Pilot Point. She preceded him in death. He was retired from Denton State School as a Food Service employee.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville.

Survivors include several nieces; great-nieces and great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Curtis Snow, Bobby Smith, Henry Wayne Snow, Richard Andrews, Dan Riddle and Ricky Nichols.
