Jerry Ray Hansmann, of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Mildred M. (Schmidt) and Monroe W. Hansmann, on June 4, 1955.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Roger, Thomas, Donald and Lyndon.

Survivors include his wife, Wynell “Nell” Hansmann, his children: Jeri Rae Hansmann, Laura Briana Carnesi, Joshua and Jeremy Willingham; his grandchildren: Alexis and Sean Carnesi, Lily Romano, Kiley and Lynnea Willingham; siblings, James and Robert Hansmann, and Shawn Jones; numerous nieces and nephews; and as well as his fur babies, Sissy, King, Dillon, and Bristol.

His hobbies included building and fixing computers, working on his classic GTO, and cruising the streets of Seguin. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved telling stories to anyone who would listen. Go Spurs, Go Cowboys!

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held the following day at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The Burial will be held at the San Geronimo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the University Transplant Center of San Antonio.
