Mary Helen (Pittman) Jacobs, age 54, of Odessa, TX passed from this life on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
She was born in Monahans, TX on Wednesday, September 11, 1963 to the late MD and Johnnie Pearl (Hardy) Pittman.
Mary was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She was very outgoing, selfless and helpful but could also be very stubborn at times. Mary enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and loved animals. In her free time she enjoyed reading, crocheting, drinking Pepsi, antique shopping and watching her crime shows on the Discovery ID channel.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are her daughters: Misty DeAnn McClaskey, Stella Rose Newby, Holly Lofton, Dawn Blackwell, Amanda Jacobs and Jennifer Carter; brother: Charles Vincent Sterling; as well as grandchildren: Chloe Creech, Hayden Creech, Kaiden Newby, Kyrsten Newby, John Little, Chasady Butts, Ian Blackwell, Matthew Little, Taylor Jacobs, Kirsten Jacobs and Heather Hubanks and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Vernon Jacobs and daughters: Charlotte Jacobs and Shanna Hughes.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls, TX, officiated by Pastor James McCrary.
Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
