OBITUARY:
BAYER - Richard Walter Bayer, 76, passed away on June 3, 2002 at his home in St. Augustine, FL. A retired military serviceman of 40 years, Richard was employed with the Grumman Company of St. Augustine until 1989. Survivors include sons, Steven Bayer of Toms River, NJ, Howard Paul Bayer and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Bayer; granddaughters, Melissa and Kim Bayer; greatgrandson, Trevor Bayer, all of St. Augustine, FL; and brothers, Al Bayer of Satsuma, FL, Howard Bayer of Mt. Bethel, PA. and Ed Bayer of Gloversville, NY. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anastasia Baptist Church, 1650 AIA South, St. Augustine, FL., Reverend Ron Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Richard Bayer to the United Way, P.O. Box 625, St. Augustine, FL 32085.
