Gilbert "Pug" Abels, 61, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at a North Richland Hills hospital.
Pug worked at Lennox Air Conditioning and Heating from 1965 until 1991; then he drove a truck until he retired in 2001. He was a lifetime member of the Lone Star Street Rod Association and was also a member of the National Street Rod Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gib Abels; his mother, Evelyn Abels; and a brother, Steve Abels.
