It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Rose Mary Williams, age 87 of Port Hueneme, on Thursday, March 29, 2018, surrounded by her family. Mom fought a brave battle with Alzheimer's.
Mom was born on December 11, 1930, in Fresno, California to George and Mary Pazin. She was the youngest of 10 children.
Mom is survived by her husband of 68 years, Herbert "Rocky" Williams, three daughters, Georgia Bedwell (Terry), Nancy Siat (Liberato), Rebecca Meza (Trini) , 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She met daddy, at a barn dance in Fresno on December 11, 1949 and married January 15, 1950. They traveled the world for the next 22 years while daddy served in the US Navy. After dad retired, they traveled in their motor home visiting their many friends and family residing across the United States. Mom's passion in life was her children & grandchildren. She instilled strong values by setting an example they could imitate and follow. Mom was a beautiful soul; to know her was to love her. Whether you were falling in love with her outgoing personality or her amazing sense of humor, you were always in store for the ride of your life.
Mom's funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.
