George N. Alberti, 89, of Safety Harbor, FL passed away on November 10, 2017 at Manor Care Health Services in Dunedin. George was born in Staten Island, NY. He came to Florida 39 years ago from Baldwinsville, NY. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a patriot who dearly loved his country. George was a butcher by trade at age 13; he owned a restaurant in NY and a butcher shop in Hudson, FL. George loved to cook for his family and friends. He is predeceased by both parents; brother, Alfred Alberti; and his loving wife and best friend of 32 years, Helen Marie Alberti.
George is survived by daughter, Mary Flynt, Agusta, GA; son, Charles Van Nort, S. Charleston, SC; daughter, Lisa Marron, Clearwater, FL; daughter, Rose Rolland, Punta Gorda, FL; daughter, Cathy Kiene, Madison, AL; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. George will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
