She loved cooking for her family and friends. She loved to play bridge, was an avid fan of the Oakland A's and the Golden State Warriors and enjoyed her occasional trips to Reno, Nevada. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish and of the Washington Township Women's Club. Beloved wife of Henry S. Brown, who preceded her in death. Loving mother of Diane T. Walsh of Fremont, Ca., Lori E. Sheline of Fortuna, Ca., Julie M. Fotopoulos, of Anderson, Ca., Gary M. Brown of Redway, Ca., Robert M. Brown of Fremont, Ca., Jeffrey T. Brown of Redway, Ca and the late David Slade Brown. Dearest sister of John Hammond of Marietta, Georgia. Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil service Tuesday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 8:00 p.m. held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4th at 11:30 a.m. held at St. Joseph's Parish, 43148 Mission Blvd, Fremont. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery.
