BURLESON--Billie Rogers Melton, 85, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Burleson Memorial Cemetery in Burleson, Texas. Rogers was born Dec. 1, 1932, in Quail, Texas.

Rogers graduated with the Wellington High School Class of 1950.

He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Burleson. Rogers was a Mason, Shriner, master carpenter, talented artist and loved to hunt and fish.

A special thank you to New Hope Hospice Care and the staff at Mansfield Medical Lodge for taking such wonderful care of him in the final months of his life. His family is so very grateful.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 66 years, Mary Ann Melton; son, Kenneth Rogers Melton and wife, Linda Beth Melton; daughters, Tommi Ann Mitchell and husband, Kenny Wayne Mitchell, Teresa Kay Binney and husband, Roger Binney; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
