Henry J. Sathoff, 83, of 196 West Mechanic Street, died at his home today after an illness of several years.
A native of Eckhart, he was a son of the late Detrick and Elizabeth (Gallagher) Sathoff. He retired about 10 years ago and was the last member of his immediate family.
His wife, Mrs. Mary K. (Brode), died two years ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lewis, of here; Mrs. Emma Cordial, Baltimore and Mrs. Doris Jones, Akron, Ohio; two sons, Clarence Sathoff, Corriganville, and Earl Sathoff, Eckhart; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
